THE MONTEFELTRO

Urbino

Urbino is 30 km from Pesaro.It was the antic capital of the Montefeltro Ducato.
A visit to Urbino means going back to the heart of the Italian Renaissance period, with its important characters Raffaello Sanzio, Piero Della Francesca e Federico da Montefeltro.
The center of Urbino has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

THE FORTRESS

San Leo

The fortress of San Leo is probably of Roman origins and historically is very interesting.
The town of SAN LEO sits on an imposing rock overlooking the Marecchia Valley,the site of many a battle.

THE PULSATING LIFE

Rimini

Rimini is a famous seaside resort,known internationally.
It is the center of the Romagnola  riviera and it has an attractive night life. Rimini also has an important historical town center dating back to Roman times.
RIMINI is a city on the Adriatic coast of Emilia Romagna.
Today it has a vibrant tourist industry.

CITY BY THE SEA

Pesaro

PESARO with its important seaport is the administrative capital of the province.
Pesaro has 95,000 inhabitants and is an important tourist centre.
The old town ,Altstadt, lies on the river Foglia.
Pesaro: Pesaro has an antique cultural background and an important historic heritage, it includs the Civic Museum, Rossinis home, The Oliveriana library, The Cathedrals mosaics.Pesaro is known internationally for the Rossini Opera Festival where artists and opera singers come and perform from all over the world. There is also the International Cinema.
The town center has interesting shops and artisan workshops.

THE ADRIATIC COAST

Fano

The city is considered one of the hundred best Italian sea side resorts.
Its origins were Roman and this is evident with monuments such as: The Arco D’ Augusto.

THE HISTORY

Medival Villages

The Marche Region is rich in midieval villages situated on its hillsides.
These places rich in history and culture and also gastronomic specialties are a typical example of how its inhabitants still live where time seems to have stopped. A few kilometers from Pesaro one can visite Gradara with is famous castle, Fiorenzuola di Focara with is beautiful view, and many others attractions such as Cingoli, Corinaldo, Sarnano, Montecassiano and Treia.The possibilities are infinite.
